Language and theme choice

If you pick a language with the language link, or a theme (System, Light or Dark) with the theme menu, your browser stores that choice (the keys "sonora-lang" and "sonora-theme") in its local storage, so the site opens that way next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. Without a saved choice, the site reads your browser's language setting in your browser to decide between English and Japanese. You can remove the saved choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify. Netlify's servers may log technical data such as your IP address when you visit, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Getting in touch

If you write to us by email or Telegram, we receive what you send, including your address or username. We use it only to reply to you, and delete it when the conversation is finished. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to messages sent there.

Latest version on the download page

The download page asks GitHub for the number of the latest release. Your browser sends this request to GitHub directly, so GitHub can see your IP address. GitHub's own privacy policy applies.

Links to other sites

The download and source code links lead to GitHub, and the contact page links to Telegram. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Sonora plays music files from your phone. It does not copy or upload them.
